Pottery Barn Red Coral Organic Duvet Cover

As an interior designer, Pottery Barn is one of my go-to major retailers for finding great things for a number of different rooms in the house. They have, amongst other things, incredible bedding sets in a variety of different textures, colors and styles.

Pottery Barn Naturals are made with organic cotton fiber that is certified to have been grown without chemicals, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. The Red Coral Organic Duvet Cover is printed with a shell and coral pattern on 200-thread-count 100% organic cotton percale.

This organic duvet cover has hidden buttons and interior ties and the sham has an envelope closure. I’m also a huge fan of the colors in this cover, which would work well in almost any room. The tree element within the design is extremely delicate and pretty.

Michael Kors Mombasa Sheets

Michael Kors Mombasa sheets

I am a big fan of the textile design that comes from Michael Kors and his design house. I find these sheet sets extremely inspired and I can see them fitting in beautifully in a bedroom with white or brown accent colors, or in a design aesthetic that incorporates animal print or nature themes.

The Michael Kors Mombasa bedding collection is inspired by Mombasa island in Kenya. This collection combines the rich fabrics of cotton, lines suede and faux leather. Safari colors of chocolate and cream are used throughout the collection and a wonderful zebra print is showcased on the comforter and duvet and a cream flange.

The Mombasa sheets feature the Michael Kors signature basket weave print in 350 thread count, which is a very soft and desirable thread count. A good rule of thumb for sheet set, is to only get sets that boast a thread count of 300 or over.
